The Exhibit Catalog

The Cavern Arts Project will design and produce an exhibit catalog, including color and black & white reproductions of works of art, plus a complete listing of all works in the exhibit and their provenance. Guest essayists will write about various aspects of the photography, artworks, and history of the park.

The catalog will also be available at the caverns bookstore through CCGMA. A portion of all sales of the catalog will be donated to the Carlsbad Caverns Guadalupe Mountains Association.

The Traveling Exhibit

A smaller, portable version of the main exhibit will travel to other parks, musuems and educational facilities across the country. This will help raise public awareness of the park and its cultural significance. Increased visitation and greater public appreciation of this national natural treasure will result.

The Documentary DVD

A documentary film will be produced by the Cavern Arts Project, highlighting how the cave has been captured in film over the decades. The film will include:

Short clips from NPS archival sources

Contemporary video clips from other sources

Still images from the actual exhibit

A professionally produced, bilingual narrative

An original soundtrack of cave influenced music

A portion of all DVD sales will be donated to the Carlsbad Caverns Guadalupe Mountains Association.
